Background

The 1st Joint Seminar on Statistics in Hydraulics (JoSSH) was held on 9 - 10 April 2013. The seminar (JoSSH) was jointly organised by the Laboratory of Computational Statistics and Operations Research, Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM). Due to the encouraging response from participants, the 2nd joint seminar will be organised on 26 - 27 May 2015 as a follow up event, which aims to bring together researchers in Statistics, Hydraulics and Hydrology. JoSSH II will consist of keynote address and invited talks only.
 
Objectives

The objectives of this seminar are:
  • To further encourage, promote and develop research in the field of Statistics in Hydraulics/ Hydrology
  • To strenghten collaborative research amongst academicians, engineers and professionals engaged in the field of Statistics in Hydraulics/ Hydrology
  • To provide a platform for discussion of Applications of Statistics in Hydraulics/ Hydrology
