Institute for Mathematical Research (INSPEM), UPM, MALAYSIA

The institute is established to fill the need for such a research centre in the country. It began operating on the 1st April 2002 after its establishment was approved by the Division of Higher Education in November 2001. The institute is under the administration of UPM and is subjected to the regulations and stipulated in the statute on the establishment of institutes in UPM.

The main activities of INSPEM include planning, identifying and implementing research in Theoretical Studies, Applied and Computational Statistics, areas of Computational Sciences and Informatics and Innovational Methods in Education. The institute also serves as two-way channel between it and the public and private agencies through which research products can be channelled and problem requiring mathematical treatment can be received and examined at the institute.

 

Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), INDONESIA

Institut Teknologi Bandung is the first technical high school in Indonesia that was established on March 2, 1959 in West Java, with a mission to serve science and technology to advance Indonesia. Born in an atmosphere full of dynamics based on the spirit of the struggle for the Proclamation of Independence, ITB is here to optimize the development of an advanced and dignified nation.

 

Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IMVAST), VIETNAM

The Institute of Mathematics is an institution of advanced research in mathematics, belonging to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (the former National Centre for Science and Technology). It was founded in 1969 by the decree no. 25/CP, dated February 5, 1969, of Vietnamese Government.

 

Thai Nguyen University of Education, VIETNAM

  Malaysian Academy of Mathematical Scientists (AISMM)

AISMM is an NGO established in 19 December 2011 that works with government agencies in dealing with teaching and learning activities at universities to improve the achievement and to ensure that the curriculum adopted in the country is comparable to the international level.

The goal of the establishment of AISMM is to manage and enhance the research activities in mathematical sciences so that the public interest in the field of mathematical sciences can be nurtured.

 

 

Universität der Bundeswehr München, GERMANY

Universität der Bundeswehr München (UniBw) is one of only two research universities in Germany at federal level that both were founded in 1973 as part of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Originally called Hochschule der Bundeswehr München, the institution was supposed to offer civilian academic education for military officers. As an uncommon feature amongst German universities, UniBw unifies a more theoretical research university division and a more practical-oriented College of Applied Sciences branch. Today, the university has an increasing number of civilian and international students. The university, offers a wide range of work and cooperation opportunities, ranging from basic research to application-oriented research and development. Due to their structure, the university's faculties are able to cover complex topics with high social relevance in a very special breadth and depth. The research centers and institutes at the university enable interdisciplinary collaboration across faculty and subject boundaries and thus contribute to the development of a lively and innovative research culture that initiates new approaches to the crucial future issues in the area of ​​"safety in technology and society".
