Introduction

Mathematical physics is broadly the study of mathematical used and developed in physics and is one of the core research areas of Institute for Mathematical Research in Universiti Putra Malaysia. The present Half-Day Seminar on Mathematical Physics is organised by Laboratory of Computational Sciences & Mathematical Physics of the institute.

The speaker for this event is Prof. Kalyan Bidhan Sinha, SERB Distinguished Fellow and Honorary Professor from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore, India. Prof. Sinha will give an exposition on the following two topics in this seminar:
