Dr. Zahra Nazemi Ashani
Zahra began her career in statistics in early 2000’s. Initially focusing on academia, Zahra later became a lecturer in the field of statistics and taught courses in Statistics and Probability in Engineering, Statistics and Probability functions, Fundamentals of Statistics, Applied Statistics and Probability in Management. Zahra also lectured in mathematics before furthering her academic career. Upon completion of her Masters in Statistics, she pursued her PhD in mathematical statistics at the Universiti Putra Malaysia. Zahra finished her PhD and entered the field of finance where she was later promoted to the Head of Risk and Research. Zahra’s skills in Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning in computational finance and her knowledge in the use of Tensorflow, Keras and Python, and expert level knowledge in R analytics, provided the foundations for lecturing on the topic for more than 5 years, and has contributed to the rapid advancement of her career in finance.
