| Workshop on Modern Methods of Mathematical Physics 2015 in conjunction with Shavkat Alimov's 70th Birthday (WM3P 2015) March 4, 2015 |
| Mathematical physics is broadly the study of mathematical structures and techniques used in
standard and advanced theories of physics. The main objective of the workshop series is to offer a forum for researchers and scientists in fields of mathematical physics and applied mathematics exchange research ideas and discuss recent developments in the area and its applications. The present workshop is held to celebrate the 70th birthday of Shavkat Alimov. Prof. Shavkat Alimov is a renowned mathematical physicist currently holding the position of chief scientist in MIMOS, Malaysia. This workshop also provides opportunities for advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students to be aware of ongoing trends of mathematical physics and applied mathematical research in leading Malaysian universities and institutions. |
