INTRODUCTION

The workshop on Writing and Publishing High Impact Research Papers will help you gain advance knowledge and skills on academic writing for publishing scientific papers in high-impact international journals. If you are interested in Research and Publication, then you know that papers which lack clarity and focus, contain errors, or are poorly written seldom get a second look by journal editors. No matter how major your scientific breakthrough is, it won’t help you get recognized in the scientific field if you don’t publish your work in a scientific journal, preferably one with a high impact factor. Professor Dr. Roslinda Mohd. Nazar, one of the top Malaysian scholars, will be the trainer for this workshop. She is an avid researcher and has published over 300 papers.  Through this particular workshop, Professor Dr. Roslinda will provide participants with practical insights and the processes required to successfully publish a scientific article in high impact journals. Unlike traditional workshops, this workshop will be very interactive, including extensive examples, one-to-one consultation, and Professor Dr. Roslinda will be answering all your questions.  Most importantly, on the afternoon, a review and feedback session will be conducted, where the participants will get a quick review of their manuscripts if any. A Certificate of participation will be awarded at the end of the workshop.

 

The main focus of this workshop will be the writing issues although other topics related to publishing will also be discussed. Particularly, each and every section of the paper (from abstract to conclusion) will be explained with appropriate examples and guidelines in order to strategize a high-quality paper for high impact journals. Throughout the workshop, you will be involved in high-level academic training to enhance your research skills and knowledge. Therefore, Laboratory of Computational Sciences and Mathematical Physics, INSPEM together with Department of Mathematics, UPM  has purposely plan to organize this workshop to maximize the learning experience of the participants.
